Role Overview:

As the Manager for Thangar Schools, you will be permanently based in Thangar, responsible for managing the everyday implementation and operations of the educational programs in the two government schools. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of the project on the ground, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the program manager in overseeing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders including the school staff, government officials, and partner organizations, and ensuring that the project is progressing as planned
  • Assisting the program manager in managing resources, including staffing, and materials needed for the project.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, partner organizations, and school staff.
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform project planning and decision-making
  • Developing and delivering project-related communications to all stakeholders, including project status updates, reports, and presentation
  • Tracking project milestones and progress and providing regular status updates to the program manager and other stakeholders
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and collaborating with the Program Manager to implement changes that enhance project performance and outcomes
  • Develop and implement outreach activities aimed at increasing student enrollment and engagement in educational programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for community engagement and participation in educational initiatives.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2-4 years of work experience in consulting/government/education sectors
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), experience in documentation, writing reports, proposals, and presentation skills
  • Analytically strong, with an ability to understand, work with, and draw insights from data; familiarity with data analysis tools
  • Ability to coordinate between and build relationships with various stakeholders within the government and with partner organizations
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment, and maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong project management skills – prioritization, setting goals, assessing progress and course correction
  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact/prior experience working in the social sector
  • Innovative thinker with a strong interest in developing new ideas and championing those initiatives with senior stakeholders

Salary: 04+ LPA

Expected date of Joining: Immediate
