Project Assistance Unit (PAU) with Directorate of Education

TEA has placed one of its employees as a program lead in the Program Assistance Unit of the Deputy Chief Minister’s office/Directorate of Education. This unit works closely with different branches and Education Officials along with the NGO partners to research, develop, and review the education reform process in Delhi. The unit works on projects ranging from parent engagement, teacher training, infrastructure, curriculum development, and governance.

Digital/Semi-Online Education (COVID Response)

  • Brought in technical know-how and dashboards into the online worksheet dissemination process set up by the government which enabled the government to set accountability measures and quality monitoring.
  • Ongoing training and support provided to teachers to help them adapt to changing demands of online education.

Mid-July-Sept 2020

Changemaker in Education Fellowship

  • Set up a robust government fellowship by providing end-to-end support on the advertising, design of the recruitment processes, induction, and ongoing management of 50 fellows. These fellows and interns now work on more than 15 education projects started by the government.

Oct 2020-onwards

SCERT Training Project Management

  • Design of the training curriculum and implementation plan (AY 2021-2022) for training of all stakeholders (50,000+) working in Delhi government schools, including teachers, mentor teachers, school leaders, and senior officers.
