Dhruv Pandey | Associate Director

Dhruv is an Associate Director, Monitoring and Evaluation at TEA. He has over 8 years of experience in the development sector. He has worked at both ends of the spectrum; as an educator during his fellowship stint with Teach for India and as a strategy consultant with Dalberg Advisors focusing on their MEL practice area. He has worked on engagements related to education, livelihoods, WASH, financial inclusion, IDD and adolescents.

He has a demonstrated history of managing programs, designing MEL frameworks and conducting wide scale evaluations, including key engagements with Jai Vakeel Foundation, Dasra, UNDP led DISHA and IFC pioneered PACT during his time at Dalberg. He is particularly passionate about strategy design and program evaluation, especially mixed methods approaches, social impact assessments and SROI models.

Prior to joining Dalberg, he spent two years leading the Monitoring and Evaluation wing at Enabling Leadership, a global for purpose organization focusing on life-skill development for adolescents. He was instrumental in defining processes for effective monitoring of program quality and leading two mixed methods program evaluations.

He has completed his Master of Public Administration from School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in 2017. He focused his studies on policy/program evaluation and design especially geared towards urban policy and social welfare programs.
