Gursimran Kaur | Lead Teacher
Gursimran Kaur is a Lead Teacher at TEA, based in Delhi. She is an educator committed to ensuring that every child has access to meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, agency, and foundational skills. With over six years of experience in education, she is passionate about creating inclusive classrooms where children, particularly first-generation learners, can thrive academically and personally.
Before joining TEA, Gursimran served as a Transformational Teaching Fellow with Teach For India, where she worked closely with students and communities to strengthen foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. She has led several student-centered initiatives, including the ‘Aflatoons’ Podcast and the published storybook Funtastic Stories, both designed to amplify student voice and creativity.
A published author of two educational books, Gursimran is also deeply invested in teacher development and believes that strengthening classroom practice is key to improving learning outcomes at scale. Outside of work, she enjoys crochet and embroidery, finding creativity and mindfulness through these crafts.
