Poonam Pal | Senior Associate

Poonam Pal is a Senior Associate, Skill Education with the Punjab Team at TEA, supporting efforts to strengthen education systems and improve learning outcomes in Punjab. She is passionate about expanding opportunities for children through equitable and high-quality education.

Prior to joining TEA, Poonam was a Teach For India Fellow, where she worked with students in Pune and Delhi to enhance classroom experiences and learning outcomes. Her experience also includes engagements with organizations such as Central Square Foundation and the KARM Fellowship, which deepened her understanding of education, public systems, and social change.

Poonam holds a degree in History from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She is particularly interested in the intersections of education, public policy, gender, and history, and how these shape opportunities and outcomes for communities.

Outside of work, Poonam enjoys reading, exploring new places, and discovering local cuisines. A history enthusiast, she has also been actively involved in heritage and public history initiatives.
