Saumya Kaushik is Senior Program Manager with the Punjab Team for Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL). She also worked on the Delhi Government’s Schools of Specialised Excellence (SoSEs).

Prior to TEA, she worked as a Policy and Administration Consultant with the Delhi Government’s Education Ministry. She has been a Teach for India fellow teaching over 250 students in Delhi’s government school for two years. She has also worked with Ernst & Young GDS previously.

She is an alumna of the Young India Fellowship (Master’s Diploma in Liberal Studies) from Ashoka University, with a bachelor’s in commerce with honors from Delhi University.

Outside of work, Saumya is a professionally trained dancer in Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary dance forms for over 8 years and an experienced street theatre artist.
